This film is one of 5 I created for Arts Action York as part of their award winning project for The Big Draw in October 2005. It was filmed at the National Centre for Early Music in York, and features the Jaipur Kawa Indian brass band. They performed for children at the event, who then drew pictures inspired by the band. The film records their thoughts and feelings about this, as well as the music, energy and vibrancy of the brass band. |
