Biomation is a two year animation project based at York Hospital working with young people to help them to better understand their illness and create animations which can do the same for other young people in a similar situation. These also involve staff and doctors in the hospital and aim to give them a better understanding of what the children go through.

So far we have worked with young people with Diabetes and Aspergers Syndrome (AS). The Aspergers Syndrome film has won the award for Best Animated Film at the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival, 2008
