NHS 60 animation

This was a short project to celebrate the NHS 60th anniversary. It was a half day workshop in the reception area of York NHS hospital, where anyone who might be passing (patients, doctors etc) was encouraged to have a go at animation. Working with sound artist Dan Axon, we designed an animation where everyone could fill in one square on a sheet in whatever way they wanted, which once animated would slowly appear and create the NHS logo. We also recorded them saying 60 and one word about the NHS to create an audio track for the animation. It catered for all abilities, and allowed people to spend as much or as short time as they could spare on it.
